After a brief break, it was red carpet time again in Hollywood at the 2024 Grammy Awards!

Music’s biggest night was held at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on Sunday starting at 8 p.m. EST. Trevor Noah once again hosted the Recording Academy festivities, with nominees including SZATaylor Swift and Jon Batiste showing up in their finest.

The fun actually began much earlier, though, with a pre-show premiere ceremony where the majority of the day’s Grammys were awarded.

PEOPLE had a look at those early winners — and all the fashion fun as the stars walked the red carpet. We’re also recapping all the can’t-miss performances and memorable acceptance speeches.

As Lennox sang, photos of more of the artists we lost in 2023 and early 2024 appeared on the screen.

Lenny Kravitz then stepped out to honor “trusted mentor and believer” Clarence Avant, a renowned music executive. Kravitz introduced Jon Batiste, who sang two of Bill Withers’ iconic songs: “Lean on Me” and “Ain’t No Sunshine.”

Only time will tell!
