April 2025 | The Colors Issue
Destination: MONOCHROME

Dear Jens and Jents,

Welcome to The Colors Issue—our boldest, brightest, and most beautiful edition yet.

This month, we invite you to travel with us to Destination: Monochrome, where fashion meets fine art, and color becomes the language of confidence. Our April cover, set against the striking Awakening Sculpture at National Harbor, features a breathtaking cast styled in head-to-toe monochromatic looks—each one radiating individuality, purpose, and strength.

This vision came to life through a powerful collaboration with none other than Harley Morgan, CEO of ROE: The Agency. When Harley approached me with the concept, I knew it would be iconic—and as always, he did not disappoint. ROE continues to raise the bar for fashion, creativity, and representation. The synergy between our teams was unmatched, and the result? A moment in fashion history.

I had the privilege of being on set during the shoot, and I must say—it was a wonderful experience. To watch each model embody their assigned color with confidence and artistry was unforgettable. These talents didn’t just wear fashion—they told stories, claimed space, and captured energy in its purest form.

Inside this issue, you’ll get to know each of the incredible models featured on our cover:

Sending a very special Happy Birthday shout out to “Armeshia Hogue” commanding in bold red—a stunning fusion of strength, sensuality, and undeniable confidence.

  • Cedric Smith in powerful blue—representing leadership and legacy.
  • Amina Smith, redefining edge in a jumpsuit crafted entirely of neckties.
  • Lo Smith, regal in sequins and silver, with a presence you can feel.
  • Reina Carroll, a fierce blend of softness and strength, draped in red.
  • Syncottia Bellinfontie – Rice, rooftop royalty with bold creativity.
  • Mike Cash, the walking definition of charisma in cinematic red.
  • Jasmyn Cook, a green goddess sharing wisdom, heart, and purpose.
  • Daquan Darby, classic yet daring, commanding in grayscale elegance.

Each of their interviews reveals the personality, purpose, and passion behind the photos. Don’t just admire the looks—get to know the people behind them. And be sure to follow them all and catch their billboard debut this month in New York Times Square!

This special issue also kicks off an exciting season in fashion. We’re thrilled to support and spotlight Indie Fashion Week Cycle 19, happening this April in Washington, DC. This platform continues to elevate independent designers, stylists, and creatives from across the country. Expect bold runway moments, emerging talent, and a community committed to changing the narrative of fashion from the inside out.
