Before we dive into this incredible shoot, we’d love to learn more about you! What’s your background, and what led you into the world of fashion and modeling?
I have a background as a professional high jumper and athlete. Right after college, I had the opportunity to do e-commerce modeling with a well-known sports brand. I worked with them for a season and learned so much about the industry. My runway journey began with my mom, who is a two-time breast cancer survivor. We walked together in the Runway For a Cure DC Fashion Show—and that’s where I first met Harley. The rest is history.
If you had to sum yourself up in just five words, what would they be and why?
Radiant. Intentional. Warmhearted. Grounded. Creative.
Radiant – I bring big, vibrant energy and have been told I light up every room I walk into. My smile and presence brighten the space.
Intentional – I move with purpose. Everything I do is meaningful and thoughtfully executed. I always say, “Let your results speak.”
Warmhearted – I lead with love and always show care, kindness, and support to those around me.
Grounded – I am confident in who I am, always bringing a steady and consistent vibe to everything I do.
Creative – I love problem-solving and thinking outside the box. I’m never afraid to express myself or bring new ideas to the table.
This editorial is bold, avant-garde, and visually striking. Did the concept challenge or excite you as a model?
Both! That’s what I love about modeling. I told myself I wanted to level up—develop my craft and elevate my talents. This shoot challenged me in the best way, and stepping into the vision alongside other talented models was incredibly exciting.
Your outfit and aesthetic played a key role in creating the overall vision—how did it help shape your performance in front of the camera?
I knew I had to create dimension and tell a story with my look. The tailored jumpsuit and bold accessories gave me a sense of power and elegance. That inspiration helped shape my movement, posture, and emotion during the shoot.
Monochromatic fashion often makes a strong statement. What message do you think this cover shoot conveys?
To me, fashion is inspiration—and this shoot conveys style, flair, and intention. It’s clean yet impactful, simple yet dynamic.
What was the most memorable part of the shoot for you?
Honestly? I loved it all. Watching the other models shoot, seeing how they moved, and witnessing the behind-the-scenes production was so energizing. The hustle and bustle of it all is something I genuinely enjoy. It was a day filled with creativity and connection.
What advice do you have for young models or creatives trying to tap into the fashion industry?
Stay true to yourself—and be better than your best moments. Keep learning, ask questions, take notes, and never stop working hard. Growth and evolution are everything in this industry.
When people look back at your work and influence, how do you want to be remembered?
I want to be remembered as someone who was consistent and persistent. Someone who made an impact because of how she carried herself and how deeply she loved and supported others.
